My name is Demetrius Philp, Jamaican born. A photographer that specializes in portraiture with the common aesthetics of editorial, celebrity, lifestyle and fine art. I work in California, travel when needed. 

I pride myself in creating imagery that conveys the essence of a person, tapping into their humility and vulnerability to draw out their true authenticity. 

This is what I call the essence of individuality. I am constantly pushing myself and the medium to curate images that speak volumes and spark conversation. 

I proudly bring my culture with me to each set I step on in an effort to expand the world of imagery as it continues to grasp the idea that we, Black creatives & talents have something important to offer. In my photographs, I seek to share feelings, communicate moods & vibes, and present the world through the lens of Black artistry.
